Cathi Jo’s Bio

Hi! My name is CathiJo Ziminski!  I am a wife and a mother of 3 beautiful children! I work full time and am going to school to obtain my Associates Degree in Supervisory Management.  I’ve been active all my life, being in gymnastics, swimming and diving.  I wasn’t going lose my passion for fitness because of my busy life.  Fitness is my outlet. I am a better spouse and mom because of it.

Once I found out about eating clean and saw how my physique changed, it just seemed natural to compete! My first competition was in 2008. I placed 2nd in my height class.  I then took some time off to have my 3rd child. I joined TEAM F.A.B. and took the stage 10 months after she was born! I placed 3rd in my class and qualified for Junior Nationals! I am so glad I joined TEAM F.A.B.  It’s such a great support system.  All the women are so encouraging, especially when the going gets tough.

Competing takes a lot of dedication and organization. But I believe if it’s something you really want to do, you will prioritize and balance your life to accomplish your goals.  I love being a role model to my children and promoting a healthy lifestyle.  We set the example for our kids and if they see us being healthy and active, they will too.  The obesity epidemic needs to change.   My dad always told me, anything worth having requires hard work, dedication and appreciation and I believe that whole heartily.
